And, coming soon! February 10, 2018 Bob Franke with Martin Grosswendt, Deborah Silverstein

The Linden Tree Coffeehouse continues its 33rd year of acoustic music concerts with a Winter Potpourri with 10 performers!  Kirsten Manville will host and Jim Trick will be featured. Also performing: Quentin Callewaert, Rachel Marie, Folkapotamus, Kim Moberg, Andy & Judy, Charles Ortolani, Peg Espinola, and Tom Smith. The eight performers who have been chosen by lottery will sing 2 songs trying to win a slot in Linden Tree’s 34th season. Audience participation will help the LTC organizers to choose returning acts. $5 admission.

The evening will be hosted by Wakefield singer/songwriter Kirsten Manville. An accessible singer/songwriter with direct, straightforward lyrics and a refreshing lack of pretense, Kirsten’s music is honest  and heartfelt, whether she’s telling a story, delving into an emotion, or capturing a moment in time. With a relaxed stage presence and ready smile, Kirsten invites her audience to share her love of music and songwriting.

Entertainment will also include a 30 minute set by local artist, Jim Trick. Jim brings a real life perspective, with an engaging and entertaining presence to the room. Joyful, sincere and magnetic are just a few of the words to describe Jim Trick.    Imagine an experience where an entire audience feels like they are connected to a conversation.  Through his experiences he delivers a blend of alternative folk, thoughtful pop, and spoken word.  Jim takes the acoustic guitar down a path of percussive, intricate, and ethereal ranges creating well thought out melodic support for carefully crafted lyrics.

Tickets will be $5.00 thanks to the partial support by the Mass Cultural Council, Wakefield Chapter. NOTE the earlier show time is 7:30pm.  Tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 7:00pm.
