Join Linden Tree Coffeehouse for an evening to discover new talent on Saturday, January 26th at Eight performers will perform two songs each, and at least one, maybe more will be asked to be a part of Linden Tree’s 35th season next year based on the input by the audience. The evening will be hosted by Wakefield singer-songwriter Kirsten Manville and will feature a set by Andy and Judy, one of last year’s winning acts.
Kirsten Manville is a singer-songwriter with a strong voice and honest music. Her recent CD, SOME PEOPLE SING, showcases this whether she is telling a story or capturing a moment in time.

Andy and Judy are a Boston area duo whose performances feature close harmonies and their multi-instruments: mandolin, banjo, piano, harmonica, ukulele, and guitars. Their songs are firmly rooted in traditional and folk music, with influences of country, gospel, blues, and bluegrass. Their new CD, REFLECTIONS, reached #9 on the Folk DJ chart for November and all 11 songs were played.
Competing in this year’s Winter Potpourri are: Allison Rose, Catie Flynn, Emerald Rae, Linda Marks, Mark & Raianne, Mark Stepakoff, Peter Lehndorff, and Tim Foley. Audience members will receive a scorecard to help the Linden Tree Committee rate each act. Last year, three of the top vote getters won the chance to perform during this year’s Linden Tree’s 34th season of acoustic music.
