Greg Greenway with Janet Feld
Click artist/group name to link to websites

Greg Greenway: The Boston Globe wrote, "Confessional one moment, rambunctiously disarming the next, few modern folk singers can own a coffeehouse stage as completely as Greenway." expertise, a soulful and moving singer, powerful poet, and sparkling entertainer, is one of those difficult-to-categorize performers who have found a home in the modern acoustic genre. Put simply, he is one of the finest entertainers you'll ever see. Musically, he draws inspiration from all over the map--gospel, rock, blues, Jazz, and world music. But his center is in the singer/songwriter tradition that traces it roots all the way back to the social awareness of Woody Guthrie.

After taking in one of Janet Feld's live performances, you'll probably remember three things: She writes interesting and thought-provoking songs; she is a fine singer who can really play the guitar; and...she's hilarious. "I knew she was good, but I didn't know she was that funny", said Julie Rioux, general manager of Club Passim, after an appearance at the Cambridge club. Janet's songs run the gamut from folk to country to rock, and are spiced with stories, joke and strange - but true - tales of the real world.
