Jack Williams and Brooks Williams
Click artist/group name to link to websites

Jack Williams, a South Carolina-born artist, is now recognized by the contemporary U.S. folk community as a singer/songwriter of national stature and an uncommonly unique guitarist about whom Sing Out! said: "Jack is one of the strongest guitarists in contemporary folk". His music is born at the meeting ground of the traditional and the contemporary – original Southern-American songwriting and performance at its best, drawing deeply from the eclectic well of our musical heritage. Jack’s fusion of guitar, voice and songs – which are loaded with delightful influences from a career in jazz, classical, rock, blues, country and folk – should not be missed.

With bluesy finger-picking, soaring bottleneck slide, and swinging flat-picking, Brooks Williams’ music is rooted in the blues and is as fresh and original as any music you are likely to hear. His unique combination of traditional and original music inspired Dirty Linen magazine to call Brooks Williams one of "America's musical treasures." His guitar skills won him a place on the Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists list, in company with the likes of Michael Hedges, Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, Doc Watson, and David Bromberg, to name a few.

Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. You can order advance tickets by mailing a check (Include your phone number!) to Linden Tree Coffeehouse, c/o Freeman, 8 Dexter Lane, Wakefield MA 01880 by May 5. Please call 781-246-2836 with any questions.
