Chuck Hall and Chuck Brodsky
Click artist/group name to link to websites

Chuck Brodsky is a down to earth musical storyteller, with his dry, barb-witted social commentary combined with a deep underlying compassion. He knows that the best stories are the little things in the lives of everyday people trying to muddle through with some grace. "He is an extraordinary talent in my opinion. I would place him in the Dylan-Guthrie-Prine league without question. His lyrics are drawn from the lives of everyday people and his acoustic guitar playing is quite amazing." — BBC Belfast (Tony McAuley)

Chuck Hall has been a singer, writer, and song collector -performer for about 20 years on the North Shore of Boston, living on or near Cape Ann for most of that time. He is a talented chooser of words that put mini-movies into the listener’s head. His most recent CD, The Northern Sagas, is a moving collection of story songs of tragedy and heroism based on his travels in Cape Breton and Newfoundland. “Hall is a Boston-area writer of quite graceful, direct songs about day-to-day life.” — Richard Meyer, All Music Guide
