Jubilee Mule and Grass Routes Bluegrass

A mainstay in the monthly Bluegrass Night series at the Cantab in Cambridge, Jubilee Mule utilizes instruments from various countries, deftly weaving melodies from Appalachia to Bulgaria with harmonies straight out of Cold Mountain and weird tunings from somewhere in the future. If Bill Monroe’s daughter married Frank Zappa’s son and they had a kid that turned into a band, you’d have Jubilee Mule.

Grass Routes has been delighting audiences since 1980 with a repertoire ranging from traditional bluegrass standards to folk and contemporary songs all performed in their own unique bluegrass style. Skillful instrumental work and strong vocals, with all members taking a turn singing lead, give Grass Routes their own characteristic sound. Showcasing especially tight harmonies, vocals include duets to four part harmonies.

Share the Warmth! Linden Tree is again participating in the WUMB-Golden Key Warm Winter Clothing Drive and asks that those who are able bring clothing donations, especially warm outer clothing, to our November, December, and
January shows.
Those donating gently used clothing will receive $1 off that show's ticket price.
